Moore depart

Well, after a few fun filled and rain soaked days Moore left on their merry way back home. A few monring games were played with the Yellow team eventually emerging victorious with some excellent code breaking.

Moore arrive!

Moore Primary school arrived today at around 11am. They had a quick scavenger hunt followed by lunch. After lunch it was orienterring around the village in their groups with the teacher spying out on the course. Then there was sme time for fun in the stream and on the rope swing before tea. After tea we had a quick game on the field and then some free time with the skipping ropes and a football!

Marlborough on their way home!

After a long day yesterday this morning was spent doing some team activities around the centre. The Bottle run was won with a respectable time of 1minute and 3 seconds. Then it was on to damming the stream and seeing who could make the deepest lake.

Then it was time for lunch and a quick game of bingo before setting off just after 2pm hoping to arrive home between 4 and 4:30pm.

Marlborough at Llechwedd Slate Caverns

Another full day of activities today - first of all it was off to Llechwedd Slate Caverns for a tour around the mines then it was off to ride the steam railways from Ffestioniog to Portmadog. after lunch on the train we braved the weather and had some time at Black Rock sands beach. Then back to Nantglyn for pizza and chocolate cake followed by some time to play on the field and then a quick bedtime story.

Marlborough at Stars!

An early start this morning to make sure that we could enjoy a full days at Stars in Denbigh. The weather wasn't great but it didn't dampen our spirits or stop the whole group have a great time doing 6 different activities including rock climbing, archery, aeroball and caving.
