St John Fisher at the centre

Below are some photos of St John Fisher at the centre. We had an action packed day of orienteering, a wide game, dam building/busting and the bottle run topped off with a camp fire. Also, below are some pictures of the Stars centre yesterday and Penrhyn castle.

St John Fisher at Stars

St John Fisher arrived yesterday having visited Penrhyn Castle. Today was spent at the Stars centre doing rock climbing, aeroball, caving, archery, fencing and team building. The evening was spent playing in the stream and then it was time for an early night because we have another busy day at the centre tomorrow.

Marton in North Wales

Marton have been with us for the last few days and have had a very hectic time. On Tuesday they enjoyed the fantastic weather at the beautful Conway Castle, the children met wild birds of prey, walked the castles walls, had a look inside Britains smallest house and had a well deserved ice cream. Tuesday evening was packed full of excitement with a campfire (with marshmallows and lots of songs) along with a scavenger hunt. On Wednesday morning they set off for the STARS Centre to enjoy a range of exciting activities, the children enjoyed; fencing, archery, aeroball, caving, team challenge and rock climbing. Once back at Plas Nant Glyn the children relished the challenge of dam building and playing on the rope swing. Thursday dawned and another exciting day began... The Slate Caverns. The group descended down into the murky caves to find out about the miners lives and the trade of mining- it's safe to say non of them wanted the job of "danger-man". The children are eagerly awaiting their trip to the Seaquarium tomorrow.
