Thorley Hill day 5

Today we went to the Stars Activity Centre in Denbigh for our multi-activity day. We took part in 6 different activities, they were:
Caving
Climbing

Archery (Mr Webb won this as Miss Tetlow cheated!!)

Miss Tetlow's "score". A stewards' enquiry was called.

Aeroball (Mr Webb beat Miss Tetlow at this one)

Mrs Clayton wasn't so keen this year!

Crate Stacking (Mr Webb let Miss Tetlow win this one....)

Shelter building

The weather was fantastic today, as was the children's behaviour. They thoroughly enjoyed all of the activities and were tired when we got back to Plas Nantglyn.

After tea we had Wales Has Got Talent which was won by Maisie and Grace singing a song from Frozen. Well done to all of the children who took part.

Miss Tetlow's contribution to the fire.
We finished our day with Mr Gordon leading singing round the campfire along with roasted marshmallows.

The realisation has come to me today that this will be my last Wales trip. It has been a pleasure to be here with your children this week and I am very happy that I have been able to be part of this experience in my final year at Thorley Hill.
