I hope you enjoyed yur trip to the Llechwedd Slate Caverns yesterday, the stories told by the Welsh miners as you try to imagine what it was like to work there years ago are wonderful. Aunt Jean lived in Porthmadog for quite a few years before you were born so the railway and surrounding area are very familiar for me. Did you drive into Porthmadog and have to pay the toll man?
